Dilys Leung awarded Doctor of Philosophy

PhD student Dilys Leung has been awarded her PhD from Monash University for her thesis titled "Investigation of the pathophysiology of granulosa cell tumours of the ovary". 

Dilys was supervised by Dr Simon Chu and Prof Peter Fuller in her studies of granulosa cell tumours with an emphasis on potential treatment targets. 

Dilys is now working at the Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Institute in Ballarat. She is investigating proteomic changes between chemo-naive and chemo-sensitive ovarian cancers, as well as chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL). 

Dr Chu as well as laboratory members Maria Alexiadis and Trang Nguyen joined Dilys to celebrate after the graduation ceremony.
