BrainSTEM Innovation Challenge

Successes, Challenges and Eureka Moments!

Steph Huang, a PhD student in the Regulation of Interferon and Innate Signalling research group, CiiiD, has been working with four Eltham High School students over the last couple of months as part of the BrainSTEM Innovation Challenge, a 12-week program offered to Melbourne Metropolitan students interested in a practical STEM learning experience alongside a STEM mentor.

The 4 Eltham students have met CiiiD scientists and visited the MHTP and Cartherics facilities and will be presenting the website project that they have researched and developed over the course of the project.

"A lack of information made for intermediate learners, thus we had the idea of making this website!"

Their final presentation took place Thursday evening, 20 June at Swinburne.

The Eltham students would appreciate it if you could recommend this site to other students or feel free if there is anything relevant to add so that they can keep this database up-to-date frequently.  Enjoy reading!
