Dr Morag Young talks with regional women

Guests at the recent Women on Farms (WOF) annual general meeting lapped up a special presentation from Dr Morag Young, who spoke about her important research into heart disease.

WOF is a large community of professional women in regional Victoria, who run a program of ongoing education, as well as support for farming women.

Dr Young said this fabulous group of women wanted to find out more about what new research is underway.

“They all asked great questions. They said it was hard to find out about new information where they lived, because specialists did not frequently visit their regions,” Dr Young said.

Much of her presentation related to the ongoing work in the Cardiovascular Endocrinology Laboratory.
