'HISS and Hers' netball match report

The team gathered in the great dining hall. Another week gone. Another battle lost.

This week's fight was particularly brutal with a loss of 32-2. The spirit of our heroes however, remained intact. Smiles on each face, proud of the effort they still put in.

It was then that Mikee picked up a guitar and played a ballad to commemorate their efforts so far.

Legend has it, that it was this ballad that would one day inspire the legendary song - 'We are the Champions' by Queen.

We've gathered our team
And tried to score
It might’ve helped
If we played before
And bad mistakes
We've made a few

Misses, trip-ups and fall-downs
But we've come through

We're not yet champions, my friends
But we'll keep on fighting 'til the end
Might not be champions
But we could be champions
For now we're losers
But we feel like champions of the world

Cause every week
We're second to none
When it comes to smiles and laughter and everything that goes with it
We always have fun

But the other teams are monsters
And we don't know the rules
So we will practice and try with all our might
One day we won't lose

We're not yet champions, my friends
But we'll keep on fighting 'til the end
Might not be champions
But we could be champions
For now we're losers
But we feel like champions of the world

We're not yet champions, my friends
But we'll keep on fighting 'til the end
Might not be champions
But we could be champions
For now we're losers
But we feel like champions
