Two scientists from the Centre for Endocrinology and Metabolism have been invited to present symposia at the US ENDO 2017 conference in Orlando, Florida next April.With more than 9000 attendees, nearly 3000 abstracts and over 200 sessions, the Endocrine Society's annual meeting is the leading global meeting on endocrinology research and clinical care.
Dr Morag Young has been invited to speak in a symposium titled "Don't Stress Your Heart Out: Corticosteroids and Cardiovascular Function" with her talk title being "Pathophysiology and Molecular Mechanisms of Mineralocorticoid-Induced Cardiovascular Disease".
Dr Fran Milat has been invited to speak in a symposium titled "Under-Recognized Causes of Osteoporosis" with her talk title being "Osteoporosis in Transfusion-Dependent Hemoglobinopathies".
