Fifth Annual NHMRC Symposium on Research Translation

The Fifth Annual NHMRC Symposium on Research Translation will be held in Melbourne on 23 November 2016. The theme for this year is

"Embedding research into health care: building a culture of quality".

The goal of the Symposium is to inspire, influence and create a culture in health care that focuses on quality, underpinned by strong research evidence.

Such a culture is exemplified by NHMRC's Advanced Health Research and Translation Centres (AHRTCs) that represent nodes of excellence in evidence-based health care. These centres bring the best possible health delivery to Australians, and are equal to the best in the world.

Abstracts are being invited on "Embedding research into health care: building a culture of quality".

The submission of abstracts that demonstrate effective strategies for embedding health and medical research evidence into practice or policy are particularly encouraged. This may include successful collaboration, changing organisational culture, or capacity building to translate research into practice, in a sustainable framework, amongst others.

Successful authors will be offered either an oral or a poster presentation.

Submissions close on 15 May 2016.

For any enquiries on submissions, please contact abstracts@nhmrc2016.com
